- Oracle Sales Business Development. Developer of Oracle’s Unlimited Licensing Agreement Value Assessment Calculator. A financial tool that quantified value received from an existing Oracle agreement. The tool provided customers with an assessment of how much $ value they were receiving from their Oracle license vs expectations, the products adoption rate vs deployment norms and recommendations for improving value received. Developed the calculator, the engagement process and value proposal for marketing to CIOs. This product was a win-win for both Oracle and their customers.
- Five Year Consumer Electronics New Products Plan. Project Manager and Process Facilitator for a team of the President and selected VPs in creating a consumer electronic company’s first five-year Aggregate New Products Plan as well as a new products planning process, across research, engineering and marketing functions of the company. - TQM Program. Assumed a leading role in driving a company’s Total Quality Program. Created a Total Quality Advisory Resource network of advanced TQ practitioners to coach facilitators throughout the company in the use of TQ and Six Sigma problem solving tools and techniques. Led many teams in root cause analysis, problem solving and process improvement using Six Sigma and TQ management tools. (Bose)
- Consumer Electronics Turnaround. Directed the turnaround recovery of the Bose European Home Entertainment Division across 16 countries in Western Europe as part of a 3-year expatriate Change Management assignment. Selective Distribution strategy, implementation of new models and processes for conducting field sales, marketing and back office operations. Customized strategy development and implementation for each country. From record losses to record profitability. Director, Project Manager and Strategic Planning Facilitator. Lived in Bad Homburg (Frankfurt), Germany. Became fluent in speaking German. Received a President’s Award for turnaround of Bose Europe.
- SAP Systems Change Management Project Manager for a large SAP ERP Implementation across the 3 largest U.S. divisions of the company. Served as the process reengineering ‘guru’ providing leadership and process expertise to reengineering teams while also leading the organization design/ change management team and sitting on the Executive Steering Committee. Received a President’s Award in 1996 for efforts in leading a large multi-year SAP implementation across three of Bose largest U.S. divisions.
- Product Coding & Bar Coding Processes. Wrote a comprehensive Bar Code Manual, primarily for use in Europe, explaining product codes, bar code labels, how to correctly read serial numbers and set up product tracking systems and transshipment violation identification. (Bose)
- Banking Systems Improvement. Worked with numerous banks including Douglas National, New Hampshire Savings and Bank of Newport to conduct IT planning, operations audits and resolve computer programming and process issues.
- Bose Business Consulting Group. Started & managed the internal business consulting group to the Executive level. (5-8 “big 4” manager level consultants) Group Manager and Lead Consultant.
